Can I drive a Motorhome on my normal driving licence?
Yes. Our motorhomes can be driven on a normal UK manual driving licence, and with no more than 6 points (but not if you only hold an automatic licence).

What time can I collect the motorhome?
We will contact you 5 working days before your hire and give you an indication of collection time, but it’s usually 3 pm, unless we've agreed an earlier collection (depending on when the motorhome is returned by the previous hire).
What time do we have to return the motorhome?
We require the motorhome to be returned and available for us to clean for the next customer at 11 am. When returning, please leave yourself plenty of time to remove your belongings from the vehicle, do the vehicle walk around, and fuel the vehicle back up. Please try to be back around 10:15 am. There are two petrol stations nearby, one in Kilsyth and the other in Banknock (depending on what direction you’re traveling from). Then unload your belongings into your car, before returning the keys for 11 am.
Do we need to bring anything with us?
The only things you will require are your clothes and toiletries. There is nothing else required as the motorhomes are fully equipped with all bedding and towels, and these are included in the price (unless you prefer to bring your own).
Get in touch if you need further information.
Will we be shown how to operate the motorhome?
Yes, it will take one hour to be shown how everything works. We also include an iPad with videos on how everything works as a reminder while you are away.
Are the motorhomes pet friendly?
Yes, our motorhomes are pet friendly for a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs. There is an extra deep clean charge of £20 per dog.
Are there any campsites you would recommend?
Milton of Fonab Caravan Park, Pitlochry. This campsite is spotless and in a fantastic location, perfect for your last night as it’s only around 1hr 30 minutes back to Banton.
Another site is Campsie Glen holiday park, which offers a range of on-site facilities during the height of the season. These include a bar and bistro, entertainment, and children’s activities as well as an indoor swimming pool and hot tub.
Glen Nevis motorhome and campsite is ideally situated with stunning views and lots to do.
Moffatt Camping and Caravan site is also extremely popular. Moffatt is a lovely small town with plenty of bars and restaurants.
While there, it’s worthwhile having a drive along to Gray Mair’s tail waterfall and nature park.
Can we park our car while we’re away?
Absolutely, we allow one vehicle per hire to be parked while you’re away. We have security cameras, however, the vehicles are parked at owner’s own risk.
As with all hire companies, we require taking a deposit of £1000 on a bank/credit card/bacs payment. This is a requirement of our insurance, to cover any damage caused. This will be fully refunded after the motorhome has been checked by us and yourself on the day of return.
